I'm creating this blog because of a dearth of blogs which exactly match my interests. I'm hoping to model it on a couple of my favorites--Newmark's Door, Marginal Revolution, and the Freakonomics blog (excepting the Hamermesh posts--that guy is a clown).
Future topics to include: statistics, news analysis, beer tasting, frugality, excesses, economics, traveling, restaurants, the finer points of grammar, et cetera.
